If an HIV test is positive at our Clinic, we ensure proper linkage to care at one of the many HIV treatment centers in the Metro area.or Sexual Health care. We also refer individuals for PrEP.
Visiting The Clinic
The Public Health Clinic provides the opportunity to schedule an appointment and avoid waiting. Appointments are given priority before walk-in visits. To schedule an appointment call 412-578-8081. Free and confidential STI/HIV testing and treatment is available for most STIs.
Walk-in patients are seen on a first-come, first serve basis
Anyone 13 years and older can be seen at the clinic without parental consent
Patients are seen regardless of immigration status.
Patients are asked to bring photo ID (i.e. driver’s license, passport, college ID) when being seen. Patients can be seen without a photo ID, though a photo ID is required to receive results.
The Public Health Clinic will be requesting health insurance information from all patients. Insurance will be charged, if provided. Regardless of insurance status, all patients will be seen, and no patient will be charged themselves for services.
